STRONG HISTORICAL SOCIETY: The June meeting of the Strong Historical Society will be Wednesday, June 1, 2022, and is open to the public. The Hammond Memorial House, at 79 N. Main Street, will be open at 5:00 p.m. for guests interested in brief tours. Our pot-luck supper will be served for dining at 6:00 p.m. (Bring a dish to share). Foothills Land Conservancy Annual Meeting
Academy Hill School Cafeteria 585 Depot Street, WiltonFoothills Land Conservancy will hold its annual meeting from 6:30 to 8 pm on Wednesday, June 15 at Academy Hill School Cafeteria in Wilton. During the first part, we will conduct our annual business meeting. Election of officers and board members will take place. The second part of the meeting will be a presentation by Dr. Julia Daly, Associate Professor of Geology at the University of Maine at Farmington. Dr. Daly deployed and maintains the monitoring buoy on Wilson Lake. She will be discussing her findings.
