The Old South Church Concert Series kicks off 2024 with Scotland’s exciting five-piece Gaelic band, Daimh on Thursday, March 7. This is the band's first ever performance in Maine! And the only Maine venue!. Doors will open at 6:30 pm with the concert at 7pm. Tickets are $25 adult general admission. Seniors (65+) and students (12+) tickets $20. Trinity United Methodist Church is having Baked Bean Buffet Suppers every second Saturday of the month. Starting in March on the 9th, all the way through the 2024 year until Dec. 14th. We start serving at 4:30 and end at 6:00. There are always red hot dogs, homemade baked beans, a large variety of casseroles, various salads, several choices for desserts and fresh homemade biscuits. Our fees are $10.00 for adults, $5.00 for young adults 12-4 years, and free for ages 4 and under. All proceeds go to our general fund to support our ministry. Thank you for your support.

April showers bring more than just May flowers to Maine – they also bring the massive annual breeding migration of amphibians throughout the state colloquially known as “big nights.” As many of these amphibians plod and hop through the landscape, they unfortunately face difficult obstacles towards reaching their breeding locations.

This event is organized by Farmington Area Ecumenical Ministry. Please join us for an ecumenical prayer walk in downtown Farmington. It is based on the medieval tradition of the stations of the Cross, from the condemnation of Jesus to his burial. The walk will start at the Center Meeting House Cemetery on Maine Street, Farmington directly behind the court house at 12 noon and will proceed round a couple of blocks in downtown Farmington, to end at the Gazebo on Main Street.
