The Wayne Community Church auction is back this summer, offered both online and as an in-house silent auction! The online auction begins on Friday, JULY 1st and runs through Saturday, JULY 9th. To bid for auction items online, go to waynechurchauction.com. Color photos are included with item descriptions. An opportunity to see and bid on the items in person will be offered at the Wayne Community Church, 22 Old Winthrop Road, Wayne, on the following dates and times: JULY 7th and 8th from 4 to 6 PM and JULY 9th from 9 AM to 4:30 PM. Maine's Paper & Heritage Museum will be open for tours and a HUGE garage sale, Saturday June 4, 2022 9am to 3pm. There will be a special museum exhibit of memorabilia from the Livermore Falls High School Class of 1967! Lunch of barbecued hamburgers, hot dogs and dessert from noon to 1 pm. Event is by donation. Maine's Paper & Heritage Museum is a non-profit, volunteer organization. All donations go toward museum repairs and operating costs. Tours available anytime by appointment. Meet the Author
25+ Maine Authors covering a variety of literature will be coming from all over the State of Maine. Each other will have a table where you can ask questions, purchase books and get autographs. There will be a silent auction with even more authors represented. There will be a lunch and baked goods for sale. All proceeds will go to Our Chesterville Community Library and there programs to support literacy and purchase a bookmobile and someday a permanent home for the library.

Trinity United Methodist Church is having a Baked Bean Supper Take Out on June 11th, 2022 at 4:00 pm-5:30 pm. The pick up for the meal is at our front entrance. We deliver it to you in your car!! The meal consists of homemade baked beans, a red hot dog, a homemade biscuit, fresh coleslaw, and brownies. We are asking for a $7.00 donation for each meal. After two years off because of COVID-19, The Bates Clean Sweep sale returns this Sunday, June 12. The college’s annual indoor "garage sale" gathers thousands of items left behind by departing students and offers them to the public at prices far below what products cost new. This year’s sale will include clothing, electronics, furniture, appliances, athletics and outdoor equipment, and countless other items. Proceeds from sale benefit local nonprofit organizations Safe Voices and John F. Murphy Homes. Safe Voices is a domestic violence resource center serving survivors in Androscoggin, Franklin, and Oxford Counties, and John F. Murphy Homes provides life-enriching

The Roderick-Crosby American Legion Post 28 will hold its Ron L. Smith Sr Memorial Car Wash fundraiser on Saturday, June 18th from 9 am to 2 pm at the Wiles Monument building located on 140 Farmington Falls Rd, Farmington, ME. United Way’s COLOR ME UNITED 5k Walk/Run
United Way of the Tri-Valley Area is excited to offer our 6th annual COLOR ME UNITED 5K Run/Walk this year! The event will be August 27th, 2022. The race will start at 9am with a huge color explosion at the Narrow Gauge Movie Theater parking lot, right off Front Street in Farmington. The race will end there as well. This year will be even more COLORFUL and fun, come dressed as cool or funky as you can, with your team or as an individual.
