Living Well with Chronic Pain
This class is designed for people who have a diagnosis of chronic pain, offering strategies for dealing with their symptoms. Topics include: techniques to deal with frustration, fatigue, isolation, and poor sleep, appropriate exercise for maintaining and improving strength, appropriate use of medications, communicating effectively with family, friends, and health professionals, nutrition, pacing activity and rest, and how to evaluate new treatments.
United Way’s COLOR ME UNITED 5k Walk/Run

The event will be August 27th, 2022. The race will start at 9am with a huge color explosion at the Narrow Gauge Movie Theater parking lot, right off Front Street in Farmington. The race will end there as well. This year will be even more COLORFUL and fun, come dressed as cool or funky as you can, with your team or as an individual. July 3rd in the Park
On Sunday July 3rd, the park will come to life with activities, food and entertainment for all ages, all provided by our area nonprofit organizations. This will be a true family day packed with fun. Festivities begin at 10:00 AM with the Children’s Doll Carriage Parade on Main Street and the Duck Race on Haley Pond, and go out with a bang as the fireworks get underway at dusk. Visitors will enjoy food, live entertainment, games, demonstrations and more - including Rangeley's Great American Dog Parade - all in the splendor of the picturesque lakeside park. Chesterville Family Fun Day
Chesterville Family Fun Day, a free event, will be held on Saturday August 20th with a parade starting at 9AM (setup at 830) on the Valley Rd(setup on the Zions Hill side) in Chesterville and ending at the Town Office. Event will be held Sunday, August 21st in the event of rain. Autumn Addicts will be performing LIVE MUSIC! There will be burgers, hotdogs, and chicken for sale. National Alpaca Farm Days
Happy Snowman Alpaca Farm 253 Knowlton Corner Road, Farmington, ME, United StatesThis year, National Alpaca Farm Days are on Saturday and Sunday, September 24th and 25th. Happy Snowman Alpaca Farm in Farmington will be open for visitors both days from 10 AM to 4 PM. Come visit the farm and meet some of the alpacas (and a couple llamas, chickens, ducks, and a rabbit named Mishka) and visit our farm store for early holiday shopping.
